Solar Panels

Solar Panels

Solar cells are devices, which convert solar energy (sun light) directly into electricity, either by photovoltaic effect, or by converting the solar energy to heat or chemical energy.

The most common form of solar cells is based on the photovoltaic (PV) effect in which light falling on a two-layer semi-conductor device produces a photo voltage or potential difference between the layers. This voltage is capable of driving a current through an external circuit and thereby producing useful energy.

The output of solar panels is measured in Watts.
The main sizes of panels we supply are: 20W, 50W, 60W, 75W, 90W, 100W, 120W.

The features of these panels are:

  • Electrically matched Silicon solar cells for efficient conversion of sunlight.

  • Fault tolerant, multiple redundant contacts on each cell for circuit reliability.

  • Chemically textured cell surface for anti-reflection enhancement.

  • Circuit laminated between layers of Ethylene Vinal Acetate (EVA) for improved moisture resistance.

  • Tough, multi-layered polymer back sheet (white Tedlar) for resistance to tears, abrasion and punctures.

  • Impact resistant tempered glass front with high light transmission.

  • Delta junction box with bypass and blocking diodes installed.

  • Design and technical specifications are subject to change without notice.
